Storytime
Storytime is held Thursdays at 11 AM through May 18. Join us in the youth area for a themed storytime, singing and silliness each week.
​
Storytime will last 20-30 minutes. Recommended for ages 0-5.
​
There will be no storytime on 5/11.

Sensory Playtime
March 14 and April 11 at 11:00 AM
Come squish, scrape, throw, crawl, and more at the library! Sensory play engages your child's brain to build critical thinking and STEM skills. Plus it's fun!
For ages 0-5. Older siblings may come along too.
Lil Wiggles
February 27, March 27, and April 17 at 11:00 am
30 minutes of music and movement for toddlers! Dance, sing, and move with your preschool friends. This event will be outside if the weather allows.
For ages 2-5, but older siblings can come too if they wear their dance-y pants!

Get Ready for Kindergarten!

Read 1000 books before kindergarten! Come to any Allegan County public library, pick up your reading log to track the first 100 books, then READ.
​
After you complete your first 100 books reading log from our library, bring the log to the library, earn a sticker, and receive a 1,000 Books book bag. You'll also receive the reading log for next 100 books.
​
When you finish the program – 1,000 books, your child will receive a certificate of completion and a free t-shirt.

In a rush but still want books? A Book Bundle is 4-5 books banded together for ease of selection and checkout. See the displayed bundles near the non-fiction section.
Baby & Parenting Bundles
Now available in the Youth Area! Kits include 2 board books, an educational toy and early literacy tips and are geared towards children up to 2 years of age.
